Knowledge

Knowledge is where your documents live. Everything an advisor can answer from comes from here. Managing Knowledge is an admin task (and individuals are admins of their own workspace).
Datasources
A datasource is a named collection of documents. The sidebar groups them by who can see them:
- Shared — platform‑wide sources curated by the operator, readable by everyone.
- Organization — sources shared across your whole org (organizations only).
- Private — sources only you can see.
Create one from + Create datasource on the Overview: give it a name, an optional description, and a visibility. (Individual accounts only create private datasources.)
Importing documents
Open a datasource and drag a PDF onto it. Each import is automatically:
- parsed — text extracted, with OCR fallback for scanned pages,
- embedded — split into passages and indexed for search,
- named & tagged — given a clean, standardized title and category tags by the AI.
Track imports under My imports — your uploads across every datasource — and watch live processing under Jobs. You can edit any document’s title or tags, or re‑process it to regenerate them.
Tags
Tags categorize your documents and datasources, and they’re how you scope a question without remembering exact source names. Manage them from the Tags panel in the Knowledge sidebar:
- create tags, and nest them one level deep as subtags,
- assign tags to datasources and to individual documents,
- in Chat, pick a tag and BizQuery searches every source under it.
Tags follow the same sharing rules as everything else: platform tags are readable by all; your organization’s or your own tags stay private to your workspace.
