Accounts & roles
BizQuery comes in two shapes, and within an organization there are roles that decide what each person can do.
Individual vs organization
- Individual — a solo workspace. You manage your own datasources, advisors, and integrations, and everything you create is private to you. You can also read anything the platform shares publicly. Individual accounts don’t have team features (departments, users, proposals).
- Organization — a shared workspace for a company. Resources can be private to a person, shared with a department, or shared org‑wide, and the team uses governed Proposals for decisions.
Roles in an organization
| Role | Can do |
|---|---|
| Member | Use Chat and advisors; request proposals; create private resources of their own. |
| Checker | Everything a member can, plus decide proposals (approve / refine / reject). |
| Admin | Manage the organization’s Knowledge, Advisors, Integrations, departments, and users. |
| Super‑admin | The platform operator. Curates globally‑shared resources across all tenants. |
What you’ll see in the app
The left navigation adapts to your account and role:
- Chat — everyone.
- Knowledge — admins (and individuals, who are admins of their own workspace).
- Studio — admins: Advisors, Integrations, and MCP.
- Enterprise — organizations only: Proposals (everyone), Departments and Users (admins).
- Platform — the super‑admin only: managing enterprises and individuals.
Your profile and API keys live behind your name in the top‑right (Account).
